Here are some tools we found helpful

This first one is a BASIC program we use to study lines with.

Just be forwarned - You'll probably have to type in the whole damned play to use this....

This program is for Windows. It was "zipped" using WinZip.

If you don't have a program to "unzip" this, you can do a websearch and find one easy enough....

LEARN YOUR LINES

Next we have some files that were used by the lighting crew.

They were designed for a 24 channel lighting board....

This first one is an acrobat reader file.

It is simply a blank 24 channel lighting cue sheet ready to print and fill out by hand.

In order to view this file, you'll need a copy of Acrobat Reader. You can obtain one FREE by clicking on the image below.

Get Adobe Acrobat

After you've installed the reader you can view the cue sheet by clicking the following link:

LIGHTING CUE SHEET

This next set can be viewed with whinders spreadsheet program.(EXCEL)

They are 24-channel lighting cue sheets and show how we used this tool.

Feel free to modify to meet your needs.

AN ACTUAL SHOW

Next is simply an audition form made with MickeySoft Word.

Again, change to reflect YOUR information and print it out.....

AUDITION FORM

...And here is an Acrobat version that can be printed and filled in by hand.

Here are a few of the many sound effects we've made over the years....

You'll need a player like WINAMP to play these files...

Door Bell

Ringing Phone

Glass Breaking

And finally we have another one that your sound crew might find interesting.

It is a windoze spreadsheet (Found somewhere on the net. The authors information is intact...) that will give them the proper attenuation of centerline frequencies on an EQ for vinyl albums that haven't been EQ'd at playback. It is called the RIAA Equalization Curve.....

Kind and Gentle Mac Users....

We're sorry there isn't much here for the Mac user.

When we have more mac tools we'll post them for your use and convenience....
